The following Christmas Preparation Disclaimer and Instructions clearly describes the precaustions that must be taken with the use of the salt dough and the oven when baking dough art products as well as food and baked goods.  

The information given in the dough art and craft section of  my Year Round Christmas Preparation website requires precautions that are obvious, but  need going over to insure safety while crafting.

Also, the information in this website, all ebooks and instructions are presented in good faith, however, no  warranty is given, nor results or safety is guaranteed.  

Since we have no control over the physical conditions that surround the application of all the information contained, the author of Year Round Christmas Preparation.com, the website and publisher, Wealthy Living Publications disclaims any liability for unfavorable results or problems relating to any of the craft projects, including the oven-baked dough art projects, the cooking of food and baked goods.

WARNING:  Unless under adult supervision, children should not use the dough, the suggested tools and the oven.  Make sure that children and pets do not eat the dough.

Some of the items suggested for use with the dough art projects need to be used with caution such as the paring knife, toothpick, paint brushes with sharp ends, etc.

Children should not be left alone to use the oven, any appliances, tools and baking utincils. Always keep your children away from these objects when they are not in use for the purposes intended.

Reminder

Use your baking time to teach your children safety in the kitchen.  Then give them little clean-up projects to help them understand responsibility.

Baking time can be a great way to bond with your children.  Teach them how to make little baked items such cookies or muffins. You also use the free dough art projects to help them make their own gifts.  Each little success they experience as you give them praise, leads to more self-confidence.
